The 1730 BK6REQUP is a platinum four-stage spark plug suitable for BMW models. Its core advantage lies in the combination of a platinum center electrode and a four-stage side electrode design. The four side electrodes significantly increase the ignition contact area, resulting in significantly improved ignition efficiency and durability compared to similar products. Compared to ordinary nickel alloy spark plugs, the 0.8mm platinum center electrode reduces ignition voltage requirements and enhances arc stability, thereby shortening cold start time and improving power response. The three-stage electrode structure also reduces the risk of single-side electrode wear, extending its lifespan to 40,000 kilometers. Furthermore, the 6-heat-range design balances heat dissipation and carbon buildup resistance, reducing wear caused by frequent start-stop cycles, making it particularly suitable for urban commuting and short-distance driving.
