The 1755 ILT5RD is an iridium-platinum spark plug designed specifically for high-performance naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines. It's compatible with GM LDK 2.0T engines, found in models such as the Buick Regal, LaCrosse, GL8, and Cadillac SLS Seville. Its core advantage lies in its dual-precious-metal combination of an iridium center electrode and a platinum outer electrode, along with an embedded copper core. This design accelerates heat transfer, reduces carbon buildup, and ensures stable ignition under high temperature and pressure conditions, resulting in a service life of 60,000-80,000 kilometers. Furthermore, the iridium-platinum electrode and tapered seat design improve combustion efficiency while significantly reducing maintenance costs.
